About this Gig
As writers, we always aim to create perfectly fleshed-out, realistic characters. But there's only so much we know from living as being a single person, in a single life, to be able to adequately portray all the diverse people we may want.
Born American, to immigrant parents, having lived in varied latino cultures, woman, LGBT, and having specialized in psychology, I can easily (and happily!) point out any misinterpretation or unknowingly offensive or biased content in a huge diversity of areas.
Ranging from simple issues like incorrect translations of brief conversations between Spanish-speaking chracters, to the physical symptoms one goes through when suffering from a mental illness, I can help you create the characters you want to know and feel as close as those you live with.
