Will my characters look identical on every page?
Yes. I paint a character sheet first with front, side and expression views, then work every page from that sheet. Character drift is the most common complaint authors bring me from other illustrators.
How much does a full watercolor book cost?
Most 20-24 page picture books land between $800 and $1,200 depending on detail and character count. Send me your page count and I will quote exactly within the hour.
Do you use AI to make the artwork?
No. Every illustration is hand-painted by me. Amazon KDP requires AI disclosure at upload, and hand-painted art keeps your book fully clear of that.
Do I own the illustrations after purchase?
Yes - full commercial rights, forever. You can publish, sell, print and reuse the artwork on any platform with no extra licensing.
What files will I receive?
Print-ready 300 DPI PDF, PNG and JPG with correct bleed and colour profile for KDP and IngramSpark. Premium also includes layered PSD source files and ePub for the Kindle edition.
How many revisions do I get?
2 on Basic, 3 on Standard, 4 on Premium. Most projects finish inside 1-2 because the sketch approval stage catches changes before any paint goes down.
I am a first-time author - can you guide me?
Yes, most of my clients are first-time authors. Send me whatever you have, even an unfinished draft, and I will walk you through trim size, page count and the KDP upload.
Can you also do the cover and interior formatting?
Yes. Premium covers illustrations, front and back cover, spine, interior layout and eBook conversion - one person for the whole book.
