FAQ
What is an MCP server in plain terms?
It is a small service that exposes your systems to an AI assistant in a format it understands. Once installed, you can ask Claude or Cursor to query your database or update a record and it just works.
Which AI clients will it work with?
Anything that speaks MCP: Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Zed and a growing list of others. I test against Claude Desktop and Cursor by default.
Is my data safe?
The server runs on your own infrastructure and I scope permissions to exactly the tools you approve. Read only by default, with writes enabled deliberately. Every call can be audit logged.
Can you connect a system that has no public API?
Usually yes, through direct database access, an internal endpoint, or a scraping layer where that is permitted. Send me the details before ordering and I will confirm what is possible.
