How many photos do I need to send?
It depends on site size: small sites under 1 acre need 150 to 250 images, medium sites 1 to 5 acres need 400 to 600, and large sites need 800 or more. Ensure 70 to 80% overlap, consistent lighting, and sharp focus for quality 3D models.
What file formats will I receive?
Standard delivery is OBJ format. I also provide FBX for animation, STL for 3D printing, PLY for point cloud analysis, or custom formats. All models include high-resolution textures and are ready to import. Just specify your format when ordering.
Do you provide measurements or scaled models?
Yes. With GPS data or ground control points, you'll get accurately scaled and georeferenced models for topographic surveys and volumetric analysis. Without GPS, models maintain correct proportions, perfect for visualization.
Can you handle vegetation or complex sites?
Absolutely. I specialize in challenging datasets: heavy vegetation, mixed terrain, complex architecture, and reflective surfaces. I use advanced photogrammetry techniques for excellent 3D reconstruction. Message me with samples if unsure.
