• - Summarisation, classification, smart search and structured extraction
• - Caching and fallback chains, so common requests never reach the model and your bill stays predictable

The part most integrations skip is the hardening. Model output is the least trustworthy thing in your system. I clamp it to safe ranges, recompute anything that matters server-side rather than trusting what came back, and make refusal a designed behaviour. Destructive actions always need confirmation.

I built five nutrition-logging paths on one multimodal pipeline for a Flutter app - photo, OCR (incl. Hebrew), voice, barcode, manual - each via cache + API before the model. 400+ tests.
