I've been building Android and iOS apps for 7+ years, and leading software engineering teams. Most of my week is spent on exactly this kind of work: reading crash reports, reproducing the bug that only happens on one device, profiling memory until the leak shows itself.

How I work:

I find the actual cause before touching anything in your code. A fix that hides a symptom usually creates two new bugs later, and in a messy codebase that creates more issues fast. You get the fix plus a plain explanation of what was wrong, so you understand your own app better afterward.
