Copyedi-ting
Focused on polishing your text at the surface level. This includes proofreading for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and improving sentence clarity and correctness.
Line Editi-ng
In-depth sentence-level editing to strengthen your writing. I review grammar, punctuation, structure, syntax, pacing, flow, consistency, tense, dialogue, transitions, clarity, redundancies, and overall readability.
If I notice larger developmental concerns outside the scope of line editing, I'll include brief notes to guide you.
Heavy Line Edit-ing
For manuscripts that require substantial, hands-on revision. Ideal for drafts needing extensive refinement, including work by non-native English speakers.

What does “heavy line editing” include for books and novels?
Heavy line editing is designed for manuscripts that require significant time and attention. It may include light rewriting to improve clarity and flow, but it does not involve creating new content. This service is especially helpful for non-native English writers or texts that need substantial ref.
Do you edit poetry or children’s books?
Poetry or any work written in rhyme or stanza form does not follow standard style guides, so traditional copyediting or line editing does not apply. For children’s book editing, please see my separate gig dedicated to that service.
Do you provide formatting services?
No. This gig focuses strictly on proofreading and editing. If you need formatting assistance, please check my other available gigs or request a costume order for formatting.
What will I receive after you finish editing my manuscript?
You will receive two Microsoft Word documents: one with tracked changes visible and one clean version with all edits accepted. You will need Microsoft Word (or compatible software) to review tracked changes.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes. Unlimited revisions are available for my edits and comments (not for adding new material). This applies only to the Standard and Premium packages.
Do you offer developmental editing?
I may leave developmental comments if I notice larger issues during line editing, but this is not a full developmental edit. My primary focus is sentence-level editing rather than big-picture content restructuring. If you need developmental comments, DM.
Can I request a free sample edit?
Yes. I encourage sample edits so we can ensure we’re a good match, but it's based on how big your project is. I typically return samples within 24 hours, free of charge.
What is your turnaround time?
Estimated delivery depends on word count: 5,000 words – approximately 4days 10,000–20,000 words – about 8 days 20,000–50,000 words – around 15 days 50,000+ words – 20 days or more
