Ui stands for (User interface) design. This is the way to remotely visualize entire functionalities of any application. And it's a must needed process before starting the development phase.

When you design a product full of useful features, but the users are not aware of them, this is also considered a bad UX experience. You need to know your user and provide them an easy path to your features.

UX/ UI design does not require coding knowledge. Although it's not required, there are still many instances when learning to code may benefit OUR UX/ UI career overall. And I'm the one who might benefit you from gaining this additional skill.
