I will clean, deduplicate and validate your excel or CSV data
Hospitality Marketing Professional AI Data Analytics
About this Gig
I will clean and organise your Excel or CSV data so it is easier to filter, review and analyse.
My service includes:
Removing unnecessary spaces
Standardising agreed labels and formats
Checking duplicates using agreed criteria
Flagging missing, invalid or conflicting values
Delivering a cleaned file and a change and issue log
I preserve your original file. Uncertain information is flagged for clarification rather than guessed.
Each package covers one table:
Basic: up to 500 rows and 10 columns
Standard: up to 2,000 rows and 15 columns
Premium: up to 5,000 rows and 20 columns
One item means one row, excluding the header.
Please message me with a redacted sample and your cleaning requirements before ordering so I can confirm the scope.
Web research, scanned PDFs, handwriting, complex formula repair, macros and integrations are excluded. Revisions cover the original agreed scope.
My portfolio sample uses fictional booking records to demonstrate duplicate removal, standardisation and quality checks.
FAQ
What files do you accept?
I accept Excel (.xlsx) and CSV files containing one table. Please send a small redacted sample before ordering so I can confirm the scope. Each package has a row and column limit; one item means one row, excluding the header.
How do you handle duplicates and missing information?
We agree which fields define a duplicate before cleaning begins. I remove confirmed duplicates using those rules and flag conflicting records for review. Missing values stay blank unless you provide a reliable reference and instructions for filling them. I do not guess missing information.
What will I receive?
You will receive a cleaned Excel or CSV file in the agreed format, plus a short log explaining the changes and any unresolved issues. Your original file will remain unchanged. Items needing your confirmation will be clearly flagged.
What is included in a revision?
A revision covers adjustments within the original agreed cleaning rules and dataset. Additional files, more rows or columns, and new requirements are outside the original scope and may require an additional quote.
