What is the difference between a print file and an ebook file?
A print-ready PDF has fixed page dimensions, margins, gutters and page numbers for your selected trim size, such as 6 x 9 inches. A reflowable EPUB allows the text to resize and adapt to Kindle devices, tablets and phones. Depending on your selected package, I can provide one format or both.
What do you need from me to start?
Please provide your final manuscript in DOCX or Google Docs format, along with any images, publishing details and preferred trim size. If you are unsure about the trim size, I can recommend a suitable option for your book. The manuscript should be fully edited before formatting begins.
Will my files be accepted by Amazon KDP?
Yes. I format to current KDP specifications, including correct margins, gutters, bleed and file types, so your files upload and pass review smoothly. I have delivered hundreds of KDP-ready books. If KDP ever flags a formatting issue from my work, I will fix it at no extra cost.
Is it confidential?
Yes, It's 100% confidential. I can Sign NDA if needed.
Can you format books with images, tables or special layouts?
Absolutely. I handle image-heavy books, tables, charts, poetry and other complex layouts, placing every element so it displays correctly in both print and ebook. Layout-heavy projects may affect the quote and timeline, so message me for the exact quote.
Are cover design or cover corrections included?
The Premium package includes minor corrections and formatting adjustments to a supplied cover, such as resizing, alignment, text corrections and KDP template adjustments. A completely new cover design is not included unless purchased separately.
