What exactly does beta reading include?
I read your story and give honest feedback on pacing, character consistency, tone, and overall impact — the reader-experience side of things, not line-by-line grammar or spelling (that's a separate proofreading service).
Do you edit or rewrite any part of my story?
No — I don't rewrite or make changes to your text. My feedback is meant to help guide your own revisions, not replace them.
What genres do you read?
Currently short stories and children's books, especially mystery, thriller, adventure, action, humour, and romance. If your story falls outside these, feel free to message me first and I'll let you know if it's a good fit.
What format should I send my story in?
Word (.docx) or Google Docs preferred, so it's easy to reference specific sections in my feedback.
How will I receive my feedback?
Basic and Standard feedback is delivered through chat. Premium includes a full written reader report as a separate document you can keep.
What happens with an additional revision round?
If you revise your story based on my initial feedback, I'll review the changes and let you know whether they addressed the notes I gave — it's a follow-up check, not a full fresh read from scratch.
What if my story is longer than my package's word limit?
No problem — extra word add-ons are available on every package, or message me for a custom offer on longer manuscripts.
