Hi, I’m Ade, a children’s book illustrator from Indonesia with 8+ years of experience. I paint in a semi-realistic watercolor soft pastel, and pencil style, both traditional and digital.
I’ve illustrated picture books like Winston the Ginormous Irish Wolfhound, Monster Sings and AJ the Airplane Man, plus book covers, D&D art, brand mascots and custom family portraits.
What you get: sketches for approval before color, print-ready files sized for Amazon KDP and IngramSpark, and friendly, clear communication.
Send me your story and vision. I’d love to bring it to life!

FAQ
What do i need to get started?
Please contact me via direct message and a brief of your project. We can do any further discussion regarding the project and what is needed.
What is your creative process?
First, i need your brief as clear and as detailed as possible (The story, the characters, settings, etc) with photo reference if possible. Then i will make some sketches with some alternatives for you to review. Lastly we continue with color process and final editing.
How the revision works?
For 3 times revision, i divided into 2 times revision on sketch and 1 on the final color. The revision on the final color can be done digitally. I do not accept revision that require recreate from the start. The revision can be discussed as long as it reasonable but extra delivery time might needed.
Can i order illustrations for a full book?
Yes, absolutely! I will also give extra discount if you order in a bulk. But please keep in mind full book project can be a long term project so legal contract will be required. Please contact me via direct message to see my availability.
Can you do other style?
Yes and no. Yes, i can be quite flexible with any style. But no, i don't accept order that require other than my unique watercolor style for this gig. Consistency and unique identity is what i want to keep as an illustrator.
Where can i see more of your sample works?
