I will integrate custom connector for rest API in power bi

To integrate a custom connector for REST API in Power BI for your company. The custom connector will link REST API in power query so that you will see all your data on Power BI Desktop.

Data Engineer:

You can modify and model your data in Power Query and Power BI (REST API URL, calculated tables, columns, measures) based on your requirements to integrate custom connectors.

REST API's : ConnectWise , XERO, INFLOW, KNOEMA , OWNER REZ, ODOO etc.

There are two Methods for Data Engineer:

The First will include the following things:

Python package and code that will generate access tokens.

The access token will be dynamically generated not Static in the power query

REST API URL then access data based on this access token.

You can make transformations on data in power query.

Second Method for Data Engineer:

Using Visual Studio SDK for Power Query with M Language

It will create a (.mez) file

This file will be placed on your PC in the custom connector folder.
