Which Proteus version do I need to open the files?
Files are built in Proteus 8 Professional. Let me know before ordering if you're on an older version, since project files aren't always backward-compatible.
Can you add sensors so the lights respond to real traffic instead of running on a fixed timer?
Yes — that's the Standard/Premium upgrade path. I can wire in ultrasonic or IR sensors per lane so signal timing adjusts based on actual vehicle presence instead of a preset countdown.
Can this be adapted to a different number of lanes, or a completely different project?
