No. That's the point of this gig. I work inside the codebase you already have, in your existing patterns, and hand it back so your team can keep maintaining it.
Whose OpenAI or Claude account does this run on?
Yours. You keep control of the keys, the billing and the data. I'll help you set the account up and configure spend limits if you don't have one yet.
I don't know whether I need a chatbot, RAG, or an agent. Can you advise?
Yes, and it's worth asking before you order. Tell me what your app does and what you want it to do, and I'll tell you which approach fits and roughly what it costs to run.
What will the AI cost me every month once it's live?
Depends entirely on usage and model. I'll give you an estimate before we start and build in logging and hard caps so it can't run away from you.
What stacks do you work in?
Laravel and PHP, Node, Next.js, React, and Python. If your stack isn't on that list, message me. I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right person.
Do I need to give you access to my repository?
For anything beyond a single simple feature, yes! I need to read the code to quote accurately. Read-only access on a branch is fine, and I'll work on a feature branch, never on main.
