About this Gig
Got the Google Play warning "Update your target API level" or "Your app must target Android 16 (API level 36)"? App update rejected or blocked? I will fix it fast, usually within 24 hours.
I am a Senior Android & Flutter developer with 16 years of experience and 20+ live apps on Google Play. I fix Java, Kotlin and Flutter apps, including old projects that no longer build.
WHAT I FIX:
- Update targetSdk and compileSdk to API 36 (Android 16)
- Gradle, AGP, Kotlin and library upgrades
- 16 KB page size support for native libraries
- Edge-to-edge, permission and foreground service changes
- Policy rejections: Data Safety, Privacy Policy, permissions, ads
- Build errors, crashes and ANRs
- Flutter SDK upgrade and plugin migration
WHAT YOU GET:
- Updated and tested source code
- Signed release AAB, ready to upload
- Short report of all changes
- Free re-fix if Google rejects the same issue again
WHY ME:
- Root-cause fixes, not quick hacks
- Fast replies and clear updates
- Your code and keystore stay 100% confidential
Message me before ordering with your rejection email or Play Console screenshot, so I can suggest the right package.

FAQ
Do you work on Flutter, Java and Kotlin apps?
Yes. I work on native Android (Java, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) and Flutter apps, including old projects that no longer build.
Can you really deliver in 24 hours?
For most target SDK updates, yes. Large or very old projects can take 2 to 3 days. I will confirm the exact time after checking your code.
Do you need my keystore and Play Console access?
To build a signed AAB I need your keystore or upload key. Play Console access is only needed for the Premium package. Everything stays confidential and is never shared.
What if Google rejects the app again?
If the rejection is about the issue I fixed, I will fix it again for free until it is approved.
Can you appeal a suspended app or account?
I can fix the app and help write a clear appeal, but the final decision is always made by Google. I cannot guarantee approval of an appeal.
What is the 16 KB page size requirement?
Google Play needs apps with native code (.so files) to support 16 KB memory pages on new devices. I update the NDK, libraries and build settings so your app passes this check.
