Why don’t you use AI editing tools?
Using AI to edit results in a substandard product that lacks the precision, intention, creativity, and human voice that your readers want. AI text cannot be copyrighted, and its use can introduce unintended plagiarism or legal liabilities into your project.
I have special requirements, can you accommodate me?
I'll try! Message me, attach your text, and explain what you want. I'll create a custom offer for you and do my best to meet your requirements.
What file types do you accept?
Submitted files must be in Microsoft Word format (.docx or .doc). If you need help with file conversion, I’m happy to help!
Do you use Word's track changes feature?
Yes, my changes and comments will be tracked in Microsoft Word (also viewable in Google Docs / LibreOffice). You’ll be able to see changes, respond to comments, and accept or reject changes one at a time or in bulk. Please let me know if you need help with change-tracking features.
What is a revision?
Request a revision when you want me to make additional changes or check minor changes you've made. If you *significantly* rewrite already-edited content, then it may not qualify for a free revision and may require an additional charge. Revisions are not applicable to some project types.
Can you do just a quick proofread?
Sure. My proofreading service is intended for texts that have already been edited and are nearly ready for publication. That means the wording is 99% settled. Check out my PDF explainer for more details or message me to assess whether your text is suitable for proofreading.
