Why do you not use AI editing tools?
1) AI-generated text is not copyrightable. 2) Use of AI can introduce plagiarism and legal liabilities into your text. 3) AI editors create substandard products that lack the scientific accuracy, readability, and human voice your readers demand.
My text isn't technical or scientific, can you still edit it?
Absolutely!
What file types do you accept?
Microsoft Word format (.docx or .doc) is preferred. Other formats are accepted with a small additional charge: Apple Pages, Google Docs, and LaTeX.
Can you edit school assignments?
No. I do NOT edit any coursework. This includes any school projects for which you will be receiving a grade. I CAN perform an ethical academic edit for masters’ theses and doctoral dissertations.
Can you do a rush order?
24 hours is the shortest delivery time I can set on an order. However, if you need it sooner, please contact me. If I’m available, I'll make up a custom offer for you.
What is a revision?
Several revisions are included in the price of your order. Request a revision when you want me to make changes to the work I delivered. If you *significantly* rewrite the piece, then want me to re-edit it, it's no longer a revision and should be submitted as a new order (contact for custom offer).
Do you use Word's track changes feature?
Yes, changes and comments will be tracked when I use Microsoft Word (or Google Docs) to edit your file. You’ll be able to see changes, respond to comments, and accept or reject changes one at a time or in sections. Please let me know if you need help using these features in Word.
I have special requirements, can you accommodate me?
Yes. Message me, attach your text, and let me know what your needs are. I'll create a custom offer for you and do my best to meet your requirements.
Can you do just a quick proofread?
Sure. I offer a proofreading-only service for texts that are already well edited. Message me for a custom offer.
