FAQ
Do I need to create the Supabase project myself?
Yes. For security reasons you must create your own Supabase project. This ensures that database passwords, API keys and tokens remain private. If needed, I will guide you through the setup process.
Do you migrate my database data as well?
Database data migration is included only in the Premium package. Basic and Standard packages focus on migrating the database schema and configuration so your project can run on Supabase.
Do you connect APIs or third-party services?
No. This gig does not include setting up external APIs or third-party services (Stripe, OpenAI, email providers, etc.). These often require private credentials. If needed, this can be discussed via a custom offer.
Do you need access to my Lovable project?
Not always. In many cases I can reconstruct the database schema from the project codebase (SQL migrations or schema files). If the schema is not available, access to your Lovable project or a database export may be required.
What do you need from me to start the migration?
Usually I need the project codebase/repository, a Supabase access token, the project ID, and sometimes access to your Lovable project. I will guide you if anything else is required.
Will my application work the same after migration?
The goal is to migrate the database structure and core backend setup so your project can run on Supabase. Some integrations or external services may require additional configuration by the project owner.
What if my Lovable project is very complex?
If your project is heavily customized or complex, please contact me before ordering. I can review the setup and confirm whether the migration can be completed smoothly.
What if the migration is not possible?
In rare cases Lovable Cloud limitations may prevent a full migration. If the migration cannot be completed due to platform limitations outside my control, a full refund will be provided.
