I will audit your google content API to merchant API migration

About this gig
Do you have custom or inherited code that directly uses Googles retired Content API for Shopping?
I will inspect your supplied source code and deliver a focused migration-readiness audit for moving the integration to Google Merchant API.
The audit can identify:
Content API methods and resources currently in use
Merchant API equivalents and required sub-APIs
ProductInput / Product changes
resource-name and identifier changes
authentication and Developer Registration impact
data-source requirements
customBatch / batching changes
likely blockers and migration risks
recommended testing sequence
migration complexity and next steps
This Gig is an AUDIT, not implementation.
It is intended for custom code, internal tools, agencies, PIM/feed systems, and inherited integrations that directly call Content API for Shopping.
Standard managed integrations such as ordinary Shopify Google & YouTube setups generally do not need this service.
Please contact me before ordering if your system is large, multi-account, or highly customized.

FAQ
Does this Gig include the actual Merchant API migration?
No. This Gig is a paid migration-readiness audit. I inspect the supplied integration, identify the required changes, risks, testing needs, and likely migration scope. If the project is suitable, I may offer implementation separately through a custom offer.
Who is this audit for?
It is for businesses, agencies, developers, internal tools, custom storefronts, PIM/feed systems, or inherited applications that directly use Google Content API for Shopping.
Do normal Shopify or WooCommerce users need this?
Usually not if a maintained third-party integration manages Google product synchronization for you. This service is specifically for custom or inherited code that directly calls Content API for Shopping.
What programming languages do you currently accept?
The initial supported scope is Python, Node.js / JavaScript, PHP, and Google Apps Script. Other languages require review before ordering.
What do I need to provide?
Please provide the relevant source code or repository files, a brief description of what the integration does, and any useful error logs or architecture notes. Configuration examples should have passwords, private keys, tokens, and other secrets removed.
Do you need my Google passwords or API secrets?
Not for the normal audit. Please do not send passwords, OAuth secrets, private keys, access tokens, or production credentials in Fiverr messages. The audit is designed to work primarily from source code and redacted configuration information.
Can you audit an integration that has already stopped working?
Yes, provided you can supply enough source code and technical context for meaningful inspection. The audit can assess the migration path whether the legacy integration is still functioning or already encountering post-sunset issues.
Can the audit fee be applied toward migration work?
If I determine that the project is suitable for implementation and issue a separate migration offer, I may credit the audit fee toward that accepted migration project.
