Clear audio is key as editing can only go so far. Record in a quiet, non-echoey space with a decent mic (I love my Rode NT1-A). Keep the mic at a steady distance and do a quick test first. If you’re not sure about your audio quality, feel free to send me a sample and I can offer you advice.
