About this Gig
I've designed ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) processes for large systems where a few hundred to 50+ million of rows are being processed. Briefly, the steps are reading data from one system and validate/transform/format, and then export for another system. But the processing may include cross-matching, validating/adding information from external API or Database.
Generally, I use Golang for creating ETL tools. The reason is - it's significantly fast and efficient! Native Concurrency feature has given it another level of power to do this kind of time consuming tasks using significantly less time and memory by processing rows in parallel.
