SQA Engineer and Software Testing Expert
About this Gig
Need Your APIs Tested Before Launch or even front end design? I've Got You Covered.
I'm an SQA Engineer with 4+ years of experience testing APIs for production systems. I use Postman, Swagger, and SOAPUI to find bugs before they reach your users.
️ Here's the reality: Broken APIs = Angry users = Lost revenue. Don't let that happen.
WHAT I WILL TEST FOR YOU:
- Status codes 200, 400, 401, 404, 500 (no surprises)
- Response time is your API fast enough?
- Response data correct format, no missing fields
- Authentication API keys, JWT tokens, OAuth
- Error handling does it fail gracefully?
- Edge cases what happens with bad inputs?
️ TOOLS I USE:
- Postman (manual + collections)
- Rest assured
- Swagger/OpenAPI (documentation review)
- SOAPUI (SOAP APIs)
- JSON validators
- Browser DevTools for debugging
WHAT YOU GET (BASED ON PACKAGE):
- Detailed bug report with severity levels (High/Medium/Low)
- Screenshots of every bug found
- Postman collection of all tests performed
- Recommendations to fix each issue
- Re-testing after fixes (included in revision)

FAQ
Do I need to share my source code?
No, I only need your API endpoints (URLs) and any authentication details (API keys, tokens). Your source code stays private.
What if you miss a bug?
I test thoroughly, but if I miss something, message me within 3 days of delivery and I'll re-test for free.
Can you test private/local APIs?
Yes, if they're accessible via public URL (like staging server) or we can arrange a screen share session.
Can you sign an NDA?
Absolutely. Send me your NDA and I'll sign it before starting work.
What's the difference between manual and automated testing?
Manual testing is what I do for all packages. Automation (in Premium) means I create a Postman collection you can run yourself anytime.
