Most Japanese short-form scripts written by non-natives lose the viewer in the first two seconds, and not because the translation is wrong.
Japanese puts the verb last. If your hook is a translated English sentence, the viewer has to reach the end of the line to find out what you are even talking about. They do not wait that long.
WHAT YOU GET
Every script arrives as four parts: the first-frame line, the on-screen text, what is said out loud, and what should be happening in frame. Written in Japanese, in a doc you can hand straight to whoever films and edits.
