About this gig
Your Japanese word, written with a real brush and turned into a short logo or title animation.
I start on paper with brush and ink, then refine the lettering and motion in Illustrator and After Effects. We agree on the exact text, intended use and mood before I write. You receive a photo of the actual brushwork as well as the finished files.
BASIC: 1 original Japanese character; PNG + up to 5s Full HD MP4 on a solid background; 1 revision.
STANDARD: 2-4 original characters; PNG + up to 8s MP4 and transparent MOV; sound effects; 2 revisions.
PREMIUM: 5-8 original characters; PNG and vector artwork + up to 12s MP4 and transparent MOV; sound effects; editable After Effects source; 3 revisions.
Each package includes one lettering direction, one animation direction and one 1920x1080 composition. I tailor stroke weight, spacing, reveal timing and the final hold to your project.

What should I send before you begin?
Send the exact Japanese characters, their meaning, intended use, preferred mood and a reference if you have one. A logo file is not required for these handwriting packages. If you need help choosing Japanese wording, message me before ordering.
Is the lettering actually written by hand?
Yes. I write the agreed Japanese text on paper with brush and ink, then digitally refine it and build the animation. A photo of the actual brushwork is included. The gallery shows my Zen study, including footage of the writing process.
What can we adjust for my project?
We agree on the mood, stroke weight, spacing, ink color, reveal timing and final hold. Each package includes one lettering direction and one animation direction. Let me know where the result will appear so I can prepare it for that use.
Can I place the animation over my own footage?
Standard and Premium include a transparent MOV plus a Full HD MP4. Use the MOV in an editor that supports alpha. Basic includes a solid-background MP4. Tell me your editing software before ordering if you need another format.
What does a revision include?
Revisions refine the agreed lettering or animation: stroke balance, spacing, color, timing or final hold. New wording, a new creative direction or an extra composition changes the scope. Please confirm the exact characters before I begin writing.
How are the packages different?
Choose by character count: Basic 1, Standard 2-4, Premium 5-8. All include original brushwork, its process photo and PNG artwork. Standard adds transparent motion and sound; Premium also includes vector artwork and editable After Effects source.
