PROVEN ON A REAL SHOP
I built and run an MCP server for my family's store. It reads sales from a Loyverse POS through three tools and uses Google OAuth. I tested it with Cloudflare's AI Playground.
GOOD TO KNOW
- TypeScript on Cloudflare Workers only, not Python or Go
- Read-only is my default. Tools that write or delete data need a custom offer
- I test with Cloudflare AI Playground. Other MCP clients should work, but I can only promise what I've tested

What is an MCP server?
A small server that lets an AI assistant use tools on your system, like "get yesterday's sales", through a standard called Model Context Protocol. It has nothing to do with Minecraft.
Which systems can you connect?
Any service with a REST API, or your own app or database once it exposes a simple API. Message me first with the API docs and I'll tell you honestly if it fits.
Which AI apps does it work with?
I test with Cloudflare AI Playground. MCP is a standard, so other MCP-compatible clients should connect, but some apps limit custom connectors to paid plans. Tell me which client you use before ordering.
Can the AI change or delete my data?
Not by default. I build read-only tools. Tools that write or delete data need a custom offer and extra safeguards.
Where is it hosted and what does it cost?
On your own Cloudflare Workers account. Cloudflare's free plan is usually enough for light use, but please check their current pricing.
Is my API key safe?
Keys are stored as secrets in your Cloudflare account, not in the code. I never need your Cloudflare password.
Which languages do you use?
TypeScript on Cloudflare Workers. I don't build Python or Go servers.
