How is this different from a beta read?
A beta read gives you a reader's reaction. An assessment goes deeper — it evaluates your manuscript's strengths, weaknesses, and what level of editing it actually needs. You get a structured report with grades, specific problems, and revision priorities, not just impressions.
How long will my report be?
Reports are typically 3–5 pages depending on your manuscript's complexity. You'll also receive a Report Card with grades across key story elements.
What if I just need a proofread?
That's actually one of the things the assessment tells you. If your manuscript is clean and ready for proofreading, I'll say so. If it needs more, you'll know exactly what before you spend money on the wrong servic
Do you work with all genres?
I specialize in genre fiction — fantasy, romance, sci-fi, thriller, mystery — but message me if you're not sure your book is a fit.
What happens on the Zoom call?
We go over your report together, you can ask questions, and you'll leave with a clear picture of your next steps. It's included at no extra charge.
