It depends on the type of testing you choose. For external (black-box) testing, I usually only need your website URL. For deeper assessment (internal testing), you may need to provide limited access, like temporary login credentials, VPN, or control panel details.
Is penetration testing legal?
Yes—penetration testing is 100% legal when you have proper authorization from the website or system owner. All testing I perform is ethical, pre-approved, and documented. Unauthorized testing without consent is illegal and strictly against professional standards.
What if no vulnerabilities are found?
If no critical vulnerabilities are discovered, that’s great news! You’ll still get a detailed report confirming your website was thoroughly tested with no major issues found. I will also include recommendations for maintaining security best practices going forward.
Do you fix the vulnerabilities yourself?
My standard gig includes detailed remediation steps to help you understand and fix the issues on your own. However, if you need hands-on patching or direct fixing, I do offer that as a separate custom service. Just send me a message, and I’ll create a custom offer tailored to your needs.
