How many variations or mockups will I get?
It depends on the designer, and it depends on how clear that designer’s vision is for your cover. About half of our authors receive only one version, and that is sufficient to produce a competitive cover that the customer loves.
Do you use AI in your designs?
We will NOT use AI tools or images in your design. AI is not necessary or preferable. However, in rare instances, a real human may utilize some AI tools and images to achieve things that would otherwise be nearly impossible without it. This is typically for supernatural or fantasy genres.
Can I provide you with images or artwork?
Yes! We appreciate all the help we can get to ensure your satisfaction.
Can I legally use the book cover images and fonts and where do they come from?
Yes, of course! All of our images come from Shutterstock, where we have a massive subscription. You get a standard license for commercial use. If you are curious about the extent to which you can use these images, visit their website. Fonts originate from various sources but are licensed.
Who owns the book cover?
While you cannot copyright a book cover, the book cover is yours to use as you see fit. We even provide you with the source PSD file, in case you decide to make changes yourself or collaborate with another designer in the future.
