About this Gig
Welcome to my gig!
Your romance manuscript feels close, but not ready. Weak tension, uneven pacing, and grammar slips hold it back. Romance readers notice everything: a rushed slow burn, a hero who sounds like the heroine, and a spice scene that loses its heat to clunky prose.
I step in as your romance editor with a sharp, story-first approach. I developmental edit contemporary romance, dark romance, and romantasy, strengthening flow, correcting grammar, sharpening dialogue, and protecting your voice.
WHAT I WILL DO:
- Line and copy editing for flow, readability, and consistency
- Proofreading to eliminate every error
- Developmental editing
- Dialogue and chemistry polish for your leads
- POV, tense, and timeline consistency checks
- Continuity tracking: names, magic rules, spice level, series details
- A style sheet to reuse across your series
WHAT I EDIT:
Contemporary romance, dark romance, romantasy, romantic suspense, mafia romance, reverse harem, sports and small-town romance, novellas and novels
Your manuscript stays confidential and is never used to train AI.
