FAQ
Who is this diagnostic for?
Restaurants, cafés, hotel food operations and catering businesses with trading data. The package covers one outlet and up to 50 dishes. Message me first for multiple outlets or a larger menu.
What information do I need to provide?
Your menu, selling prices, recipes or portion costs, ingredient prices, dish sales volumes, waste records and operating costs. Ideally, provide 4–8 representative weeks of sales and waste data, plus monthly overheads.
What if I do not have food waste records?
Contact me before ordering. Without records, I can review your processes and identify likely waste risks, but I cannot quantify actual waste costs. We can agree a suitable recording period before the diagnostic begins.
What does the break-even analysis show?
It estimates the sales needed to cover the agreed operation’s fixed and variable costs. I explain the assumptions and data limitations. Whole-business analysis requires complete business cost and revenue information.
Is dish contribution margin the same as net profit?
No. Dish contribution shows what remains after the variable costs included in the calculation. It contributes towards overheads and profit. The report makes the cost basis clear.
Do you guarantee savings or increased profit?
No specific financial outcome is guaranteed. You receive evidence-informed findings and prioritised actions. Results depend on your starting position, data quality and implementation.
What does the revision include?
One round of clarification and adjustments within the agreed scope, using the original dataset. Additional dishes, a new trading period or substantial replacement data require a separate agreement.
How does the debrief work?
We arrange a 60-minute online session through Fiverr’s available meeting tools to review the findings, discuss priorities and answer your questions. Please share your time zone and availability when ordering.
