Food Systems Sports Catering, Hydration Consultant
About this Gig
Know which dishes to promote, reprice or review.
I will audit up to 25 dishes from one menu at one location, turning your food costs and sales data into practical decisions.
Your Menu Profitability Audit includes:
- Dish-level food cost percentages and contribution margins
- A menu engineering matrix: Stars, Plowhorses, Puzzles and Dogs
- Pricing observations based on costs, sales mix and menu context
- A concise PDF report with priority actions and an Excel analysis
- A 30-minute debrief to discuss findings and next steps
- One revision to clarify findings within the original scope
For restaurants, cafes and food businesses with existing sales and dish-cost records.
Please provide your menu, selling prices, ingredient cost per portion and quantities sold for the same recent 4-8 weeks. Confirm currency and tax treatment. The matrix compares popularity and contribution within relevant menu categories.
This is a focused decision-support audit. Recipe costing from scratch, menu graphic design and implementation are excluded. Contribution is before labour and overheads; profit increases are not guaranteed.

FAQ
What information do you need?
Please provide up to 25 dishes with menu category, selling price, ingredient cost per portion and quantities sold over the same recent 4-8 weeks. Include your menu, currency, tax treatment and any discounts. Excel or CSV is preferred.
Can you build the matrix without sales or dish costs?
The full audit requires both item sales quantities and ingredient costs per portion. Without these, a reliable popularity and contribution matrix is not possible. Message me before ordering if records are incomplete; recipe costing from scratch is outside this package.
What do I receive and what does a revision cover?
You receive a PDF findings report, Excel dish analysis and menu engineering matrix, pricing observations and a 30-minute debrief. One revision covers clarification within the original menu and dataset. Extra dishes, new data periods and implementation require a separate scope.
How does the 30-minute debrief work?
We arrange a mutually suitable time through Fiverr to review the findings, pricing observations and priority actions. Please share your time zone and availability when ordering so we can schedule the debrief within the seven-day delivery window.
Will this audit guarantee higher profits?
No. The audit identifies opportunities based on your supplied data. Results depend on data quality, customer demand and implementation. Dish contribution is selling price less ingredient cost, before labour and overheads; it is not net business profit.
