I will teach you ancient greek

Hello, I am currently a final-year master's student specializing in early Christianity (Christian apologetics of the 2nd century), and I thought I would share my modest knowledge of Greek by teaching it to those who wish to share this passion with me.

I studied modern Greek for eight years (2006-2014), before dedicating myself to ancient Greek (2015-2024). I have already taught Greek for two years to groups of young Christians who wanted to learn it, and this is an opportunity to continue on a more individual basis.

Within a year, it is possible to acquire a good foundation, learn to read, write, conjugate most 'normal' forms, and understand the main declensions, in short, to become familiar with the language. The courses will aim to familiarize you with Greek texts and their structure, primarily Greek literary works of the Classical literature as materials, although we can also focus on specific sets of texts if you want a more precise period, place or type. Ancient Greek spanned over a timeframe of 1000+ years, so if you have specific interests (mythology, christianity, philosophy, etc) don't hesitate to tell me, and I'll adapt and use those texts.
