- For developmental editing, I'll thoroughly read through your book, short story, or article and provide inline notes with rewrite suggestions, along with a separate, in-depth editorial report covering structure, voice, reader engagement, language, and any other areas holding your work back from its full potential. This service comes with inline commentary and a written report, but no direct edits to your document.
- For line editing, I'll work directly within your text to improve style, flow, and clarity. Where it strengthens the piece, I'll add transitions or brief exposition, and I'll correct any grammatical issues I come across along the way.

Developmental editing focuses on the big picture structure, pacing, voice, and reader engagement. You'll get inline notes plus a full editorial report, but I won't rewrite your text directly. Line editing is hands on: I work inside your manuscript to improve flow, clarity, style, and fix grammar

Do you edit fiction and nonfiction?
Yes, both, across all genres from fantasy and romance to memoir, self help, and academic work.
How long will my edit take?
Turnaround depends on word count and service type. I'll confirm a delivery timeline with you once I've seen your manuscript and we've agreed on the right package.

Will you fix grammar and typos too?
With line editing, yes grammar and punctuation issues are corrected as part of the service. With developmental editing, I'll flag recurring issues in the report, but the focus stays on structure and craft, not line by line correction.
Do you offer sample edits before I commit?

Will my work be kept confidential?
Yes, absolutely. Your manuscript and any personal details shared with me stay private and are never shared or used without your permission.
