About this gig
I am a professional cartographer with 5+ years of experience in map visualization and design. In addition, I have been a hobbyist GM for 4 years and have vast experience creating vibrant fantasy worlds and colorful maps to accompany them.
Digital battle maps are a great way to bring your fantasy RPG game to life while playing in-person or online. Unfortunately for many game masters, generic maps often don't line up with their creative vision, forcing GMs to adapt their game to fit in with low-quality or misleading maps. I will create a custom, highly detailed battle map to your specifications, allowing you to avoid this common GM pitfall.

Graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with 5 years experience in GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Pro) as well as post-graduate GIS Certification. I have specialized in projects pertaining to environmental issues and urban design, as well as anthropological and archaeological studies.

FAQ
How do you price your maps?
The base prices of my maps (before extras) are calculated using a grid system. These maps are intended for use in TTRPG systems that utilize grid combat, generally where a 1x1 square = 5ftx5ft. A larger grid means a larger map and therefore a greater level of detail, so they are priced accordingly.
What do I need to get started?
All that I need to get started is a basic description of your map and its primary details, whether that is a fully fleshed-out document and preliminary sketch of a 12-level dungeon, or just the phrase "goblin boat", I can work with you to flesh out your vision no matter how rudimentary or complex.
Do you offer pixel art or other styles?
The only style I offer is the style shown in the images on the gig page. I can offer various genres, including fantasy, sci-fi, and modern, but the only art style I offer is what you see on the page. If you have a question about available styles, send me a message!
Do you build maps in Unity/Unreal/3D Engines?
At this time, no. The only map styles I offer are those seen on the gig page. I do not offer 3D art services.
Do you offer city/world maps?
Check out my other gig! These maps are primarily small-scale and high detail, focused on the building or city-block level, but my other fantasy mapping gig is much larger scale, perfect for cities, continents, and entire worlds.
(EXTRAS) What is Vibrant Shading (Dynamic Lighting)?
The Vibrant Shading extra (aka Dynamic Lighting) beautifies your map by adding increased color detail and simulating light sources. If you compare the maps on the gig page, you will see that those with Dynamic Lighting are more vibrant and colorful than the "flatter" style maps without.
(EXTRAS) What is Enhanced Detailing?
Picking the Enhanced Detailing extra allows me to double down on the level of detail presented in your map. Where the base map would place a table and chair, the Enhanced Detail extra would fill that table with discarded books, a bloody knife, and a plate of mutton.
(EXTRAS) What is VTT Support?
Many TTRPG players choose to use Virtual Tabletop (VTT) services, such as Foundry VTT, Roll20, and Arkenforge, to play their games. Specifically compatible VTT files can offer increased functionality beyond simple image files, connecting directly with in-game lighting systems and other features.
