About this gig
I am a professional cartographer with 8 years of experience in map visualization and design. In addition, I have been a hobbyist GM for 10 years and have vast experience creating vibrant fantasy worlds and colorful maps to accompany them.
A map is a great way to help visualize your world and an essential tool for any GM/storyteller. I offer three packages with varying levels of detail, allowing you to customize and help me create the map that you want- using your concept as a baseline- no matter your budget. My maps are custom-made, with no AI, and come in several styles, ranging from low-color "parchment" looks to full-color detail, sci-fi landscapes, and more.
For $30:
- I will create a low-color stylized "parchment" map with up to 30 landmarks
- 1080p resolution
For $90:
- Everything above + optional full color
- Up to 90 landmarks
- Stylized map title and optional sub-heading
For $150:
- Everything above + up to 150 landmarks
- Stylized compass and full map legend
- 4k resolution
For $XX
- Everything above + unlimited landmarks at $1 per additional landmark.

Graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with 5 years experience in GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Pro) as well as post-graduate GIS Certification. I have specialized in projects pertaining to environmental issues and urban design, as well as anthropological and archaeological studies.
My projects have a strong emphasis on cartographic principles and visual appeal as a priority.
In my spare time I translate these skills into creating rich fantasy worlds for various tabletop roleplaying games.

FAQ
What do I need to get started?
All I need to get started is a basic understanding of what you are looking for in the map, whether that is a fully detailed draft map with a hundred labeled landmarks, a simple rough sketch, or even just a basic written description. From there, we choose a style from my portfolio and begin work!
What are "landmarks"?
A landmark, for the purposes of pricing, is any major feature that needs to be labeled or visually represented on the map. The most common landmarks are geographic elements, such as mountains, forests, rivers, and lakes, or man-made features, such as cities, roads, and towns.
What styles do you offer? Can you emulate this style?
All available styles are on display right here on the gig page. If you see one that you like, let me know and we can absolutely emulate it. If you are interested in a style not offered on the page, send me a message and we can discuss if it is possible to include.
What program do you use to build your maps?
All of my maps are built using Wonderdraft. If you are interested in further editing your maps, I offer the editable Wonderdraft files as an extra.
Do I need the Commercial License?
The Commercial License is required for any project that would sell, advertise, or otherwise profit off of the map. You do not need the Commercial License if the map is purely for personal use, but you do need it if the map is part of a project that you plan to make money off of.
Do you use AI?
I do not use any AI tools in the creation of these maps.
