I will master your music through a boutique analog chain

About this gig
My name is Alejandro. I am a professional mastering engineer, pianist, keyboardist and multi-instrumentalist with over 10 years of mastering experience and a lifetime devoted to music.
My background as a professional musician has shaped the way I listen. Years of performing and working with music have developed a highly trained musical ear for balance, harmony, tone, dynamics, space and musical intention.
For me, mastering is not simply about making a track louder or technically correct.
It is about understanding the music first.
At Maru-Land Analog Mastering, every song is treated individually through a carefully selected high-end analog chain, using only what your music actually needs.
My acoustically treated studio and Genelec reference monitoring allow me to make precise decisions while respecting the character of your mix.
You will receive a professional, release-ready master with balance, depth, clarity, punch and competitive loudness without sacrificing musicality.
No presets. No one-size-fits-all processing. Every master is unique.

FAQ
What should I send for mastering?
Send your final stereo mix as WAV or AIFF, preferably 24-bit or 32-bit float, at its original sample rate. Please avoid lossy formats such as MP3.
Should I remove the limiter from my mix?
If the limiter is only being used for loudness, please remove it. If it is an essential part of your mix sound, you can send both limited and unlimited versions.
How much headroom should I leave?
There is no specific target required. Just make sure your mix is not clipping. You do not need to lower your mix simply to reach -6 dBFS.
Can you check my mix before I order?
Absolutely. Send me your mix and I will evaluate whether it is ready for mastering. If I hear an issue worth addressing first, I will let you know.
What counts as a revision?
A revision covers reasonable mastering adjustments such as tonal balance, loudness or dynamics. A new or significantly changed mix is not considered a revision.
What if I change my mix after mastering?
Small mix updates may be accommodated, but substantially revised mixes may require a new master or an additional fee. Please contact me first.
Do you use presets or a fixed analog chain?
No. Every song is evaluated individually. I select the processing and analog equipment according to what the music actually needs.
Will my master be ready for streaming platforms?
Yes. Your master will be prepared for professional digital release and will translate properly across streaming platforms and playback systems.
