I need accounting firm access to QBO or Xero account, bank, credit card & Loan statements, and all sales and purchase data in a suitable format. Requirements vary from client to client depending upon the nature and workflow of the business.

I use bank/credit card statements description for analyzing the nature of the transaction. But I don’t rely wholly solely on description and QuickBooks artificial intelligence. If needed I will ask you about transactions purpose by preparing an Excel query sheet.

I make sure that the client’s books are ready for the work the client is asking for. If I found discrepancies in the books which need to be rectified before I start my job. I point out those to the client if the client agrees to rectify them. Then I will move forward.

Login into your QuickBooks Online account. On the right top, click the "Gear icon (cogwheel) -> Manage Users -> Accounting Firms -> Invite". Login into your Xero account. From setting you need add user (at least standard or admin as per working need).

Even your Bank/Credit Card is connected to your QBO account. I will need statements for cross-checking transactions with the QBO register, reconciliation and adjusting PayPal/Stripe fees appropriately.
