I know fixing your novel can be tough. That's why I'm here to help with my insider's perspective!
I have gone through the priority and slush piles for literary agents in publishing. Specializing in Young Adult & Middle Grade, I'd love to help you shape your opening chapter before sending it out into the query trenches.
This service includes:
- A read-through of your provided Word or PDF pages. (equivalent of 3k, 5k, or 10k words)
- A 1 or 2-page reader report of your opening pages.
- In-line comments on your provided document.
- 1 revision.
My reader report and in-line comments will focus on your first chapter's CHARACTER, PACING, PLOT, WORLDBUILDING, and any additional aspects you would like or what feels necessary to note. I will honestly highlight your strengths and weaknesses, and tell you how you can reshape your opening chapter to better fit what agents are looking for.

"Do you only read Young Adult and Middle Grade?"
No, I will read for any genre and age category! However, I am most familiar with YA and MG when it comes to the publishing market and evaluating how your book would fit in the market.
"What genres will you read?"
I will read in any genre, but my favorites are mystery, thriller, paranormal, and contemporary.
"Should I send a Word document?"
I prefer using Word, but PDF is also fine. No Google Docs, please.
