What information do you need to start my cover?
Please provide your book title, author name, genre, a brief description or blurb, and any ideas you have for the cover. References for the mood, colors, imagery, or overall style you like are also helpful.
Do you create original illustrations?
No. I create custom cover compositions using commercially licensed design assets, typography, blending, gradients, effects, and other design elements. I do not hand-draw or digitally illustrate artwork from scratch.
Can I use my finished cover commercially?
Yes. I use assets that are licensed for commercial design use. If your design requires a specific premium asset that has an additional licensing cost, I will discuss it with you before using or purchasing it.
Is paperback or hardcover formatting included?
No. This gig is specifically for ebook front covers. Paperback and hardcover covers require additional formatting for the spine, back cover, bleed, and print specifications and are offered separately.
What file types will I receive?
You will receive your completed ebook cover as high-quality JPG and PNG files.
Can you match the style or mood of my book?
Absolutely. Please tell me about your genre, characters, setting, atmosphere, and the feeling you want the cover to convey. Reference images or examples of covers you enjoy can also help establish the direction.
What counts as a revision?
A revision is an adjustment to the chosen cover concept, such as changing typography, positioning, colors, or other design elements. A completely new cover concept or design direction is not considered a revision.
Will you make an exact copy of another author's cover?
No. You're welcome to provide other covers as inspiration for mood, genre, typography, or general style, but I will not recreate another designer's cover.
Do you use AI-generated artwork?
No. I do not use AI-generated artwork or AI image generators. All covers are manually designed using commercially licensed assets, typography, gradients, blending, and other design tools. Please do not request AI-generated artwork.
