I will test your website accessibility as a blind screen reader user
About this Gig
Want to know what your website is really like for a screen reader user?
I'm Ali, a blind screen reader user in the UK. I use NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on iPhone every day. I'll test your page or journey the way I normally browse and tell you where I get stuck and what works well.
What I check
- Can I find and use the main content, headings, links and buttons?
- - Do forms, labels and error messages make sense when read aloud?
- - Can I complete the task, such as signing up or booking?
- - Are images, menus and pop-ups announced usefully?
How I test
Desktop: NVDA with Chrome on Windows, using keyboard navigation.
iPhone: VoiceOver with Safari, using VoiceOver navigation and gestures.
Scope
Basic: one page, desktop only.
Standard: one journey, up to 3 pages, desktop and iPhone.
Premium: two journeys, up to 6 pages in total, desktop and iPhone.
Extra pages, new tasks and retesting after fixes are outside the original scope.
What you receive
A plain English report on each issue: where it happens, what the screen reader announced and why it matters, with practical suggestions where appropriate.
This is not a WCAG audit, compliance check or certificate, and I do not fix code.

FAQ
Is this a WCAG audit or accessibility certificate?
No. This is hands-on testing by a blind screen reader user. It shows the real barriers I meet, but it does not replace a full WCAG audit, legal advice or certification.
What counts as a user journey?
One task a visitor completes from start to finish, such as signing up, booking or checking out, across up to 3 pages. Tell me the start page and what a successful finish looks like.
Can you test pages behind a login?
Yes, if you provide a test account set up for this purpose. Please do not share real customer data or personal passwords. I will not make real payments.
Do you fix the issues you find?
No. I explain each issue, why it matters and what could improve, so your developer or designer can fix it.
What does a revision include?
Clarifying or rewording parts of the report. Retesting your site after fixes counts as a new order.
