NOTE: I do NOT use AI in any part of my process.
As Your Favorite Alpha or Beta Reader, I will read your writing and provide honest, detailed feedback.
What's included in my Alpha Read:
- Reader Report (reviewing concept/idea, plot, structure, characters, dialogue, overall strengths, and weaknesses)
- Personal Letter summarizing my findings
- Word Doc copy of your writing with Track Changes On Showing In-Line Notes, Highlights, and Comments
What's included in my Beta Read:
- Feedback and answers to questions from the perspective of a general reader delivered to you in a Word Doc
What I do NOT offer: formatting, editing, proofreading, or rewriting

What genres do you read?

What does your Reader Report look like?
My Reader Report can be anywhere from 1 to 10 pages, depending on what I'm reading (short story, novella, novel). It is organized for easy readability. Also included are key observations about your text, drawing from my publishing industry experience.
Can I give you multiple pieces to read at the same time?
Yes, my limit is two at a time from the same author.
I have a collection of short stories that I need read. Can you help me?
Yes. When inquiring about a Beta Read, provide the total word count for ALL PIECES. If you have multiple pieces, please put them in one document .doc .docx or Google Doc.
Can you read and review my poems?
Yes. Please put all of your poems in one document (.doc, .docx, or Google Doc) and let me know the total word count.
My piece is 10,000 words or less, can I get a custom gig offer?
If your piece is 10,000 words or less, message me details about your piece (approx. word count, genre, and questions you have for me). I will take your answers into consideration and decide if I want to offer a custom gig. The offer may be a pared-down version of my standard Alpha or Beta Read.
My piece is over 100,000 words, can I get a custom gig offer?
Please message me with the following details: exact word count, genre, and questions you have for me. Based on the information you provide, if I decide I can conduct an Alpha or Beta Read, I will create a custom gig offer.
