Mmm.. your pricing is way higher than any other clarinetist. Is it worth it?
My rate is $125 per 60 seconds of material. I do mostly custom offers, and am happy to prorate my services and work with your budget. If you look at my reviews or my site, you will see that when you hire me, you are getting a level of musicianship and professionalism that is simply not matched.
What is the difference from other clarinetist?
I can play ethnic orient music with my emotion. And i can play improvise with my feeling.
Are you equally comfortable reading sheet music, improvising and writing original parts?
Yes! I pride myself on being flexible and knowing exactly what is needed of me to make each individual project shine. That includes creating backing chord to compliment an already existing band/ensemble, or solo clarinet to provide your track with a brilliant lead line and melody!
What kind of clarinet do you play? What does it sound like?
My clarinet was produced by Amati Kraslices & Remsey Germany, the Systemof German and French Bb System. My beautiful instrument is worth over $ 5,000 and has a rich, dark glow that contributes to any music style and project.
What gear and preamps do you use to record yourself?
My pre-amps include the Neve 1073, Studer 800 and the Teletronix LA-2A. I have excellent natural reverbs, including the EMT 140 and Lexicon. I record my clarinet with an Rumberger Microphone and capture the perfect combination of warmth, clarity and brilliance.
