FAQ
Which platforms can you migrate to Squarespace?
I can rebuild and migrate content from Wix, WordPress, Weebly and Squarespace 7.0 to Squarespace 7.1. Please send your website URL first so I can confirm what can be transferred.
Can you migrate Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1?
Yes. I can recreate your existing pages and styling in Squarespace 7.1. Because templates do not transfer automatically, this is a rebuild rather than a one-click conversion.
Will my website look exactly the same after migration?
I will aim to preserve your brand, content and key layout features while adapting the site to Squarespace 7.1. Some fonts, animations, plugins or platform-specific features may need an alternative.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
No freelancer can guarantee unchanged rankings. I can help reduce migration risk by retaining available SEO titles and descriptions, mapping agreed URL changes and setting up 301 redirects where supported.
Do you migrate blogs and online stores?
Blog posts and product catalogues need a scope review before ordering. Large blogs, product variants, orders, customer data, memberships and complex stores are not included in the standard page packages.
Will you connect my domain?
Domain connection can be included when the domain and account setup are ready. I can guide DNS changes, but domain registration, paid subscriptions and third-party fees are not included.
What do you need before starting?
Please provide your current website URL, source platform, page list, Squarespace contributor access, brand assets and any design references. Never send your account password in chat.
Can you redesign my website during migration?
Yes. The Standard package includes a clean responsive rebuild; Premium includes more layout refinement. Share a reference site and brand guidelines before ordering.
How long will the migration take?
Delivery depends on the selected package and how quickly I receive access and content. The listed delivery time starts once all required information is provided.
Can I order if my website has more than 15 pages?
Yes. Please message me with your website URL, page count and any blog or store requirements. I will review the scope and send a custom offer.
