Hi, Im Alonso, a professional Arabic and Flamenco multi-instrumentist from Colombia with over 21 years of experience in music. I hold a degree in Music from Universidad de Antioquia and have pursued additional studies in Egypt and Spain. I specialize in playing the kanun, darbuka and cajón across a wide range of styles, including flamenco, electronic, techno, rock, funk, Arabic music, and more.

Composer, percussionist, kanun player, and music producer, for over 20 years I have explored and merged flamenco and Arabic music. I am a co-founder and director of Colombia's first flamenco-Arabic orchestra, La Jarana. I have composed music for various artistic works, as well as for audiovisual media, theater, and animation. Additionally, I have performed music, given lectures, and conducted workshops at both local and global levels. Much of my compositions can be found on music distribution platforms.
