What is your experience as an editor?
I'm a professional writer and editor with over 15 years of experience in tech, gaming, publishing, and narrative content. I've worked as a Senior UX Writer at Twitch and supported quest, interface, campaign, publishing, and editorial content at Blizzard Entertainment for all IPs.
Do you include developmental or line editing?
No, those are separate services I offer that should be performed before proofreading. An all-in-one service isn't available because you're expected to revise the manuscript between each stage, allowing however much time you need before initiating the next step.
Are you a native English speaker?
I am fluent in American English, but I can edit Commonwealth English just as well.
Do you accept manuscripts translated from other languages for non-English speakers?
Absolutely! Just let me know how you translated the manuscript. I don't care if you use AI for your translation, but there are quirks to certain models I like to look out for.
Do you accept AI-written manuscripts?
I accept AI-assisted manuscripts; i.e. outlining and developmental tools. I will not accept a fully AI-generated or revised manuscript.
Do you have any explicit content limitations?
I don't mind most types of mature or explicit content. Gratuitous violence as a primary driver (slasher horror-type manuscripts) is not my interest, but some violence and gratuitous content is generally fine.
