About this Gig
I believe that every person has a book worth writing down, and I believe that there are no "bad" manuscripts--only manuscripts that will need some more work. I endeavor to provide you with the exact kind of feedback that I would want from a beta reader: specific, constructive, thorough, and encouraging.
I've provided feedback on hundreds of manuscripts (that gig is now in the proofreading section of Fiverr: a bundled proofreading and beta feedback gig), and I've worked with memoirs, fantasy, academic papers, romance, and just about every genre you can think of.
For fiction works, I provide comprehensive and constructive feedback on general impressions, characters, the writing, and the plot.
For non-fiction works, I focus on the structure, clarity of information, the writing, author credibility, and reader retention.
For all works, I compile lists of my favorite lines and themes I noticed while gauging reader engagement throughout the reading experience.
