You write a script. You're excited about it and you can't wait for everyone to see it, but you know it could be even better. So you find me, an editor. I look it over and give my initial reaction. We talk a little bit about the story and the characters and the overall message you want to get across.

Then I go in, and I proofread, format, and make suggested line edits to ensure it reads clearly, the action isn't too indulgent, and the dialogue is natural, not overly expository. I make notes as I go for any bigger, overall comments you may want to address after my delivery, like inconsistent characters, plot holes, or lingering questions and confusion.
