Are you looking for an affordable way to have your story or book narrated with real passion and joy? I genuinely love reading aloud, and I don't do rote reading--I immerse myself in the story, feeling its pace, emotions, and characters until it comes alive for listeners.
My background in writing and stage acting helps me interpret characters quickly and authentically, and for over a decade I've honed my narration skills by reading to my children with energy, humor, pathos, and inspiration. That same magic is what I'd be honored to bring to your project.
I provide clean, clear recordings suitable for indie authors and creators. While I don't offer full studio sound, my narration is expressive, engaging, and carefully edited. Good diction, emotional nuance, and a wide tonal range allow me to cover diverse casts.

FAQ
Are there any genres you're unwilling to work with?
Political Thrillers, Military Action, Christian, Western, Historical Dramas, and Hard Science Fiction. If your work is a genre crossover with any of the latter, I may consider it, but please message me to check!
Do you have a length limit?
Not really! I'm willing to do larger novels and series. If that's the case, I can look into doing a custom order for you with milestones. It's helpful to mention how large your project is when you're messaging for availability and providing your story info.
Do you use Zoom?
I have a basic account with Zoom, which only allows for 40 minute meetings. I can use Zoom if you insist, but I do not recommend it as it doesn't allow for the full 2 hour live direction (if you purchased that add-on).
Why an extra 3 days for Live Direction?
Mostly for scheduling, or in case we need to break up a session in hour-long chunks. It doesn't necessarily mean the final product will take longer to deliver, it's just a cautionary cushion. This is why reaching out before hiring is so important!
What is your recording set up and what should I expect?
I record with a Scarlett Studio mic plugged into a Behringer U-Phoria UMC22, and do careful editing in Audacity. My audio is clean and polished, but not full studio-grade. I recommend light mixing or mastering on your end if your project requires perfect studio sound.
How do your revisions work?
Make a small selection for re-recording. Live-direction changes don’t count. For longer works, custom orders with milestones are recommended (4 revisions per milestone). Max additional revisions: 20. Total revisions must be under 20% of the project. More requires a new order. Message me for details!
Are you willing to make graphic noises for adult stories?
My arrangement makes adult performances of that nature too inconvenient for me at the moment. On that note--if the role offered in the adult project does NOT contain X-rated noises, then I am perfectly fine with it. Describing sex is one thing. Simulating it? Whole different ballpark.
What about commercial and broadcast rights?
Commercial rights are included given the assumed use of the files. Broadcast rights need the purchase of an add-on, however. There's a lifetime price at $50 and 1 year is $15.
Why is this gig more expensive than your voice acting gig?
It includes commercial rights and 4 revisions. The voice acting gig has commercial rights as an add-on and only has 2 revisions in the base package. Thus, the difference. THIS gig assumes a different purpose and is geared towards larger projects. For more targeted voice acting, see the other gig.
