What exactly does a beta reader do?
A beta reader gives you honest, reader-focused feedback before publication. I’ll tell you what’s working, what’s confusing, and what might need more attention, from pacing and characters to tone and flow. My goal is to help you polish your story while keeping your unique voice intact.
Do you correct grammar or spelling?
My beta reading focuses on story flow, character development, and reader engagement rather than grammar or punctuation. If I notice recurring errors, I’ll point them out, but I don’t perform full editing here. If you’d like detailed grammar or style corrections, just send me a message.
Will you read any genre?
Yes! I happily read all genres, fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, poetry, fantasy, romance, thrillers, and everything in between. Every story has something unique to offer, and I love exploring them all. No matter what you’ve written, I’ll approach it with curiosity, respect, and enthusiasm.
How will I receive your feedback?
You’ll get a detailed written report summarizing my reader experience and suggestions for improvement. Depending on your package, I’ll also include inline comments directly in your document for more specific insights.
